Introducing Conflict Detection for Regex and Enums

December 12, 2024

Managing tracking validations just got easier with our latest update: Conflict Detection for Regex and Enums. This feature allows you to quickly identify problematic values in your tracking setup, helping you resolve errors more efficiently and keep your data quality intact.

What’s New?

When dealing with Enum or Regex errors, you’ll now see a new “Show more invalid values” option. This enhancement provides a clearer view of the conflicting values, making it easier to pinpoint the exact source of the issue and resolve conflicts faster, with greater confidence.

How It Works

Identify Problematic Values Instantly

Previously, resolving Regex or Enum errors often meant combing through data to find invalid values. With this update, you can:

  1. Click “Show more invalid values” in the error message.
  2. Instantly access a detailed list of the problematic values that don’t match your defined rules.

This small but impactful change eliminates guesswork, saving you time and ensuring precision in your tracking setup.

Why This Matters

1. Simplified Debugging

Quickly see what’s causing validation issues without navigating through multiple screens or datasets.

2. Faster Resolutions

Direct access to invalid values means you can update your Regex patterns or Enum lists in seconds.

3. Improved Data Quality

With better visibility into conflicts, you can proactively maintain clean and reliable analytics data.
