Introducing Traffic Warnings Tolerances
At Trackingplan, we know that not all events in your analytics setup are created equal. Some require immediate attention, while others benefit from a more relaxed approach to monitoring. That’s why now Trackingplan provides customizable traffic warning tolerances.
This new functionality gives you the flexibility to define how sensitive your alerts are to Traffic Drops and Traffic Peaks, ensuring that you stay on top of what matters most—without unnecessary noise.
What Are Traffic Warning Tolerances?
Traffic warning tolerances allow you to fine-tune the thresholds for detecting significant changes in traffic patterns. Whether you’re monitoring critical events, like conversions, or less impactful ones, like informational pageviews, these settings ensure your alerts are meaningful and relevant.
You can now choose between three predefined levels:
Low Tolerance
Best for critical events, such as checkout completions or lead submissions. Alerts will trigger at the slightest variation, ensuring you catch issues as soon as they arise.
Medium Tolerance
Ideal for balanced monitoring. This level reduces false positives while still alerting you to significant changes.
High Tolerance
Designed for non-critical events, like general pageviews or blog visits. Alerts will only trigger when major traffic changes occur, helping you focus on the bigger picture.
Custom Tolerances
